 Deoxidizer: Titanium has a strong affinity for oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur, so adding it to molten metal removes these impurities and sequesters them in slag.
 Specific applications: Used in the manufacture of automotive-grade steel, as well as appliances and tubular goods.
