Product Advantages
Grain Refinement: During the solidification process, the titanium in Deoxidizer Ferro Titanium forms a large number of tiny particles in the molten steel, which serve as the cores for steel crystallization. This promotes the formation of numerous fine grains during solidification, thereby improving the steel's strength, toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance.
Interstitial Element Fixation: Titanium has a strong affinity with carbon and nitrogen, combining to form stable titanium carbide (TiC) and titanium nitride (TiN). This stabilizes interstitial elements in the steel, reducing their adverse effects on the steel's crystal structure. It also provides dispersion strengthening, further enhancing the steel's strength, hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Improve the welding performance of steel: When smelting stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, titanium combines with carbon to form a stable compound, which can prevent the formation of chromium carbide, thereby reducing intergranular corrosion and improving the welding performance of chromium-nickel stainless steel.
