Product Description
Calcium silicon cored wire is a highly efficient alloy additive for steel smelting, made of low carbon steel strip wrapped with calcium silicon alloy powder. Its main components are silicon (Si) and calcium (Ca), with common ratios including Si 60-65%, Ca 25-30%, and the rest being iron and trace elements.
Products application
1. Automotive steel: Improve cold forming performance and reduce crack risk (such as IF steel, high strength plate).
2. Bearing steel: Reduce oxygen content, refine inclusions, and increase fatigue life.
3. Stainless steel: Prevent Cr₂O₃ formation and improve corrosion resistance.
4. Electrical steel: Reduce oxygen content and improve magnetic properties;
5. Pipeline steel: Control sulfide morphology and improve resistance to hydrogen induced cracking (HIC).
