Product Description
Titanium iron cored wire uses low-carbon steel strip as the outer skin and wraps high-purity titanium iron alloy powder (titanium content is usually 25%-70%) inside. It efficiently introduces titanium elements into molten steel through the wire feeding process, plays a key role in steel microalloying, purification and organizational optimization, and is one of the core materials for producing high-strength and high-toughness special steels.
Products application
1. TiC and TiN formed by titanium iron cored wire treatment can absorb hydrogen atoms in steel, reduce the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, and refine the organization to improve corrosion resistance. After X70 grade pipeline steel is treated with titanium iron wire, the HIC test crack rate is ≤1%, which fully meets the requirements for sour gas field transportation.
2. The titanium content of titanium iron wire can be adjusted according to the requirements of steel grades (25%-70% in various specifications): low titanium type (25%-35%) is suitable for welding steel, medium titanium type (40%-50%) is suitable for high-strength low-alloy steel, and high titanium type (60%-70%) is suitable for silicon steel and other steel grades with high titanium demand. The adaptability covers more than 80% of micro-alloyed steel production.
