Product Description
304 Stainless Steel Foil refers to 309 grade stainless steel foil with strong high-temperature oxidation resistance (can be used for a long time in an environment of 800-1000℃) and good processability. A dense chromium oxide protective film (Cr₂O₃) will be formed on its surface, which can effectively prevent the erosion of oxygen and corrosive media at high temperatures. It also has high ductility (can be cold rolled and stamped) and non-magnetic characteristics, which is different from 304 or 316L, which focuses on room temperature corrosion resistance.
Products application
1.304 Stainless Steel Foil is used as the lining foil and furnace sealing foil of box furnaces and trolley furnaces. It can withstand continuous high temperatures below 900℃, prevent the metal oxidation and peeling of the furnace body, and extend the service life of the equipment.
2.304 Stainless Steel Foil is used as the lining foil of pipelines for treating chlorine-containing and sulfur-containing high-temperature exhaust gases (such as the incineration tail gas pipelines of chemical plants). Its resistance to intergranular corrosion at 600-800℃ is better than that of ordinary stainless steel.
3.304 Stainless Steel Foil is used as an isolation foil when welding dissimilar metals (such as stainless steel and high-temperature alloys) to prevent embrittlement caused by carbon migration during welding and improve the quality of welds.
