Product Description
316L Stainless Steel Foil refers to 316L grade stainless steel foil with excellent chloride ion corrosion resistance (better than 304) and good low-temperature toughness. It performs outstandingly in corrosive environments such as seawater and acid and alkali solutions. At the same time, due to its low carbon content (≤0.03%), it can maintain corrosion resistance without solid solution treatment after welding, and has good ductility (can be cold rolled to ultra-thin specifications) and non-magnetic characteristics.
Products application
1. Protective foil for scalpels and syringe needles (isolates body fluid corrosion), and precision coating substrates for implantable medical devices (such as heart stents) (excellent biocompatibility, no risk of sensitization).
2. Anti-corrosion isolation foil for ship decks and membrane component support foil for seawater desalination equipment to resist corrosion from seawater (containing high concentrations of chloride ions) and avoid structural failure caused by rust on the metal matrix.
3. Pipeline sealing foil for dairy production lines and lining foil for pickled food equipment meet food contact safety standards (such as EU 10/2011) to prevent metal ion migration and contamination of food.
