Titanium combines with carbon to form a stable carbide (TiC), avoiding intergranular corrosion caused by the combination of carbon and chromium (Cr23C6), and is a typical representative of "high temperature stable" stainless steel foil.

Product Description

The core competitiveness of 321 Stainless Steel Foil lies in its "stability in high temperature environment": the stabilization effect of titanium enables it to resist intergranular corrosion after welding or high temperature use (better than unstabilized 304), and its high temperature oxidation resistance below 800℃ makes it suitable for long-term heating scenarios (performance is close to 310S but the cost is lower). The ultra-thin specifications (starting from 0.01mm) meet the lightweight and space-limited requirements of precision parts, and are "heat-resistant rigid materials" in aerospace, high-temperature equipment and other fields.

Products application

1.321 Stainless Steel Foil is used for thermal insulation foil in the combustion chamber of aircraft engines and protective coating substrates for turbine blades. It can withstand high-temperature gas corrosion below 800℃ and prevent the metal matrix from failing due to oxidation. The thermal control foil of the satellite attitude control system (reflects thermal radiation to maintain the temperature of the equipment) and the high-temperature resistant insulation layer of the missile tail fin maintain dimensional stability under extreme temperature differences (-200℃ to 600℃).
2. Heat dissipation foil of high-temperature heat exchangers (such as heat exchange components of chemical cracking furnaces), maintaining structural strength in high-temperature fluids (such as superheated steam and hot oil) to avoid leakage caused by intergranular corrosion.
