FerroTitanium Metal Lumps

FerroTitanium Metal Lumps are an alloy of iron and titanium used primarily in the steel industry for deoxidation, desulfurization, and denitrogenation. Produced by melting various grades of titanium scrap with iron, these lumps are crushed to the desired size and come in different compositions, to suit specific manufacturing needs like creating high-strength or corrosion-resistant alloys.

 Purify Molten Steel: FerroTitanium Metal Lumps react with impurities such as nitrogen and sulfur to form insoluble compounds. These compounds can be removed through the slag during the steelmaking process, thereby purifying the molten steel and improving the purity of the steel.
 Refine Grain Size: Titanium reacts with carbon to form stable titanium carbide, which inhibits grain growth and refines the steel's microstructure, thereby improving its strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance.
 Improve Utilization of Alloying Elements: Compared to pure titanium, ferrotitanium has a higher density and lower melting point, making it easier to melt and distribute evenly in molten steel, effectively increasing the utilization of titanium and other alloying elements.
 Stable Performance: Ferrotitanium exhibits excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, maintaining stable performance during storage and use and resisting deterioration.

 Easy to use: The block shape is convenient for addition and measurement in the production process such as steelmaking and casting, and the addition amount can be accurately controlled according to production needs.
