FerroTitanium 70

FerroTitanium 70 is an alloy containing approximately 70% titanium, used primarily in the steel industry for deoxidation, grain refinement, and to improve strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability.

Deoxidizer: The titanium in the FerroTitanium 70 reacts with oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen to form insoluble compounds, which are then removed in the slag, resulting in a cleaner metal.
Grain refiner: Adding ferrotitanium creates a finer grain structure in steel.
Corrosion and heat resistance: It is used to produce stainless and heat-resistant steels, significantly improving their resistance to corrosion and thermal fatigue.
Strength and weldability: The alloy enhances the strength and weldability of steel, especially in critical components.
