Industrial Uses Of Ferrosilicon

 Foundry: A cast iron performance improver. In cast iron (gray iron, ductile iron, and malleable iron), ferrosilicon is a key auxiliary material for optimizing the microstructure and properties of cast iron.

 Non-ferrous metal processing: refining and alloying aid. In the processing of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, and copper alloys, ferrosilicon can be used as a refining agent and alloying auxiliary material to improve the quality of non-ferrous metal products.
