Product Introduction

Products Description

Calcium Silicon for Ductile Iron Production appears as gray lumps or granules with a metallic luster. It possesses a melting point range of 980–1200°C and a density of 2.5–2.8 g/cm³. Characterized by excellent fluidity, it dissolves rapidly in high-temperature molten iron with a high recovery rate (exceeding 90%). It exhibits no clumping or splashing phenomena during use, resulting in extremely low material loss during processing. The lumpy product can be added directly to the molten pool or steel stream for precipitation deoxidation, while the powdered product is suitable for diffusion deoxidation; both forms offer convenient operation and effectively boost production efficiency. Furthermore, the product is resistant to moisture absorption and pulverization, facilitating easy storage and transportation while minimizing storage-related losses.

Application Scenarios

Production of New Energy Vehicle Components: Tailored for the production of thin-walled, high-toughness castings-such as motor housings, battery pack brackets, and chassis suspension systems-for new energy vehicles. It meets the stringent requirements for nucleation density inherent in thin-walled, rapid-cooling casting processes, effectively preventing "white iron" defects while enhancing the strength and toughness of the castings. The consumption rate per ton of castings aligns perfectly with the production demands of the new energy vehicle sector, assisting manufacturers in achieving their goals for lightweighting and high-strength production.
Production of Wind Power Equipment Castings: Utilized in the production of massive, thick-section castings-such as large-scale wind turbine hubs and bases. By employing a multi-component composite formula containing strontium and barium, it ensures long-lasting inoculation effects, inhibits graphite coarsening and ferrite aggregation in the core sections, and prevents micro-cracks caused by nitride inclusions. This ensures the castings meet the exacting standards for sectional property uniformity required by wind power equipment.
Production of Pipe and General Machinery Castings: Applied in the production of general machinery castings-including water and gas supply pipes, pumps, valves, and machine tool beds. It significantly enhances the corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and sealing performance of the castings, thereby mitigating issues such as leakage and structural failure, extending product service life, and reducing long-term maintenance costs.

FAQ

Q1: What are the key differences between your company's calcium-silicon alloy and standard calcium-silicon products?
A1: The core differences lie in compositional precision and compatibility. We have optimized the calcium-silicon ratio specifically for the production of ductile iron, while strictly controlling the content of impurities such as aluminum, sulfur, and phosphorus. This makes our product particularly suitable for the production of high-end castings, as it enhances nodularity and reduces the scrap rate. Furthermore, it offers integrated multi-functional advantages, thereby simplifying production processes and lowering overall costs.
Q2: How can I determine the most suitable product grade and ratio for my specific needs?
A2: You simply need to provide basic information-such as the ductile iron grade, the intended application of the castings, and your smelting process-and our technical team will provide a complimentary assessment to identify the optimal product grade and ratio for you. If necessary, we can also provide on-site technical guidance to ensure the product is perfectly tailored to your production requirements.
Q3: What after-sales guarantees do you offer?
A3: If the product quality fails to meet established testing standards, we offer unconditional returns or exchanges. We provide technical support throughout the entire process to assist in resolving any issues that may arise during product application. Additionally, should any packaging damage or product loss occur during transit, we will promptly arrange for replacements to safeguard our customers' interests.
