1. Adjust the manganese content in cast iron (0.5%-1.5%), inhibit "white cast" (hard and brittle phase), and improve the qualified rate of castings.
2. Silicon manganese alloy powder is added to the electrode coating to stabilize the arc, reduce weld porosity, and add manganese and silicon to the weld to improve weld strength (such as structural steel electrode E4303).
3. Silicon manganese is used to replenish manganese and silicon elements lost due to burning in scrap steel recycling and smelting, and restore the composition stability of steel.
