Metal Silicon 1101 for Steel Making is a high-purity industrial silicon product with a Si content ≥99.7%, impurities of Fe and Al ≤0.1%, and Ca ≤0.01%. In steelmaking, it is primarily used as a powerful deoxidizer and alloying additive, enhancing the purity, mechanical properties, and special characteristics of steel. It appears as a silvery-gray metallic crystalline block/granular substance with a melting point of approximately 1410℃. It is chemically stable and possesses properties such as high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and high resistivity.

Powerful Deoxidation: Metal Silicon 1101 for Steel Making reacts with oxygen in molten steel to form SiO₂ slag, effectively reducing oxygen content, minimizing defects such as porosity and shrinkage cavities, and improving the density of the steel.
