 High Strength + High Hardness, Heat-Treatable: 410 stainless steel strip is the strongest among martensitic stainless steels. Through quenching and tempering heat treatment, its strength and hardness can be significantly improved. In the annealed state, the tensile strength is approximately 415-655 MPa, and the yield strength is ≥205 MPa. It has good plasticity, facilitating stamping, bending, and other forming processes. After quenching and low-temperature tempering, the tensile strength can soar to over 800 MPa, and the hardness can reach HRC30-40. It also possesses wear resistance and impact resistance, making it suitable for applications involving friction and loads, far exceeding that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel strips.

 Good Machining and Mechanical Properties: Annealed 410 stainless steel strip has good plasticity and can undergo conventional stamping, bending, shearing, and cutting processes, adapting to various machining processes. After quenching, the hardness increases, making it suitable for machining and manufacturing various precision mechanical parts. It also possesses good hot strength, cold deformation performance, and vibration damping properties, maintaining stable performance even under vibration and high-temperature conditions, and is not easily deformed or broken.

 Basic corrosion resistance, suitable for mild environments: With a chromium content of 11.5%-13.5%, 410 stainless steel strip can form a dense passivation film, exhibiting good basic corrosion resistance. It can withstand corrosion from the atmosphere, fresh water, neutral salt solutions, and weak oxidizing media, superior to ordinary carbon steel. However, it should be noted that its corrosion resistance is far lower than that of 304 and 316 stainless steel strips, and it is not resistant to organic acids, reducing media, and high salt spray environments, making it unsuitable for marine and chemically harsh corrosive environments.

 High cost-effectiveness, significant cost advantage: Compared to nickel-containing austenitic stainless steel strips such as 304 and 316, 410 stainless steel strip does not contain nickel, resulting in lower raw material costs. Furthermore, its mature production process allows for large-scale production, significantly reducing raw material procurement costs for customers. Its performance meets the needs of most low-to-mid-range high-strength applications, offering extremely high cost-effectiveness and making it a preferred material to replace ordinary carbon steel and high-cost stainless steel.
