Product Description
Duplex Steel Coil is a high-strength, high-corrosion-resistant stainless steel coil. The chromium (Cr) content is usually 20%-25%, and alloy elements such as molybdenum (Mo) and nitrogen (N) are added. It takes into account the toughness of austenitic steel and the strength of ferritic steel, and its stress corrosion cracking resistance is better than that of traditional 300 series austenitic stainless steel.
Products application
1. Duplex Steel Coil is used for oil and gas pipelines, drilling platform structural parts, submarine pipelines, etc. It is resistant to hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and chloride ion (Cl⁻) corrosion in oil and gas, and its high strength can reduce the thickness of the pipeline wall and reduce transportation costs.
2. Duplex Steel Coil is suitable for equipment such as reactors, heat exchangers, and storage tanks. It can withstand corrosion from organic acids (such as acetic acid), alkali solutions, and saline solutions, and is especially stable under high temperature and high pressure environments.
