430 BA stainless steel, short for 430 Bright Annealed Stainless Steel, is a classic high-gloss grade of ferritic stainless steel, often referred to as a mirror finish. It is a premium product among 430 cold-rolled stainless steels. Its core characteristic is the use of a full hydrogen protective atmosphere bright annealing process. During high-temperature annealing, air is isolated to prevent surface oxidation, resulting in a scale-free, high-gloss mirror finish. It can be directly used for exterior parts without secondary polishing, boasting a reflectivity of over 90% and a surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.05μm. Compared to 304 stainless steel, 430 BA stainless steel uses a low-nickel, high-chromium formula (nickel content ≤ 0.6%), costing only 60%-70% of 304 stainless steel. It also possesses strong magnetism, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and excellent thermal fatigue resistance. Its continuous operating temperature can reach 816℃, and its intermittent operating temperature can reach 815℃. It performs excellently in weakly corrosive environments such as dry atmospheres and clean fresh water, making it a preferred material for medium corrosion resistance, high gloss, and low cost, widely replacing 304 stainless steel in non-strongly corrosive applications.

430 BA Stainless Steel Core Advantages
High-gloss mirror finish, outstanding appearance: Crafted with a full hydrogen-protected bright annealing process, the surface is free of oxidation and scratches, boasting a full mirror luster with a reflectivity exceeding 90% and a brightness of up to 1100 degrees. It can be directly used for exterior parts without secondary polishing, significantly reducing processing costs and enhancing the grade of end products. Suitable for high-end needs such as appliance panels and decorative parts.
High cost-effectiveness, controllable costs: Low-nickel formula design, priced at only 60%-70% of 304 stainless steel. Eliminating middlemen, direct factory pricing is more competitive. Bulk purchases enjoy exclusive discounts, helping companies significantly reduce procurement costs while maintaining performance and aesthetics, offering a cost-effectiveness far exceeding similar products.
Stable performance, wide applicability: The ferritic structure endows it with strong magnetism, a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and excellent heat fatigue resistance. Continuous operating temperature can reach 816℃. It exhibits good corrosion resistance in dry atmospheres, clean fresh water, and weak organic acid environments, while its thermal conductivity is superior to 304 stainless steel, making it suitable for various applications.
Easy to process and flexible to customize: It can easily achieve stamping, bending, welding, and cutting. Post-weld annealing restores its plasticity and prevents cracking. It supports customized thickness, width, length, and surface precision, and also provides one-stop processing services such as laser cutting and slitting, adapting to the personalized needs of different industries.
Main Application Scenarios
Home Appliance Industry (Core Application): Washing machine drums, microwave oven shells, gas stove panels, refrigerator shelves, oven liners, range hood panels, etc., utilizing a mirror-like gloss to enhance product quality while meeting heat resistance and easy cleaning requirements.
Architectural Decoration Industry: Elevator handrails, interior decorative panels, skirting boards, stair railings, outdoor advertising boards, etc. BA surface combines aesthetics and weather resistance; its low coefficient of thermal expansion reduces deformation caused by temperature changes, adapting to both interior and exterior decoration needs.
Automotive Industry: Automotive exhaust pipe guards, interior parts, wheel arch trims, etc., utilizing heat fatigue resistance to adapt to high-temperature conditions, while the high-gloss surface enhances the interior texture and contributes to lightweight automotive design.
Kitchen and bathroom applications: Cookware outer coverings, sinks, tableware, bathroom accessories, etc. Smooth, easy-to-clean surface, resistant to mild corrosion, lower cost than 304 stainless steel, suitable for mass production.
Electronics and other fields: Mobile phone casings, watch casings, button batteries, medical device accessories, fuel burners, chemical storage tanks, etc. Suitable for precision machining and high-temperature, mildly corrosive environments.
