High Carbon Silicon Block

High Carbon Silicon Block functions as a composite deoxidizer, a heating agent, and an alloying element to introduce silicon and carbon into molten metal, improving the final product's strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. Produced as a by-product of silicon metal production, it's favored for its lower cost compared to traditional deoxidizers like ferrosilicon powder, offering a way to reduce steelmaking costs while increasing product quality.

 Deoxidation: High Carbon Silicon Block reacts with oxygen in molten steel, removing impurities and forming a slag that floats to the surface.
 Alloying: It adds silicon and carbon to molten metal, enhancing properties like strength, hardness, and wear resistance in steel and cast iron products.
 Heating Agent: Its high calorific value makes it an effective heating agent in steelmaking furnaces, replacing more expensive materials.
 Carbon Addition: It efficiently adds carbon to molten steel, improving the carbon recovery rate and reducing the need for separate carburizers.
