This property makes it an indispensable deoxidizer in the steelmaking process, effectively removing oxygen from molten steel, reducing defects caused by oxygen, improving inclusion morphology, and reducing the gaseous element content in molten steel, thereby improving steel purity and quality and reducing production costs.
 Excellent Alloying Ability: Adding an appropriate amount of ferrosilicon powder to steel can significantly enhance multiple properties. The addition of silicon significantly increases the strength, hardness, and elasticity of steel, making it more suitable for the manufacture of structural parts requiring high mechanical properties.  Excellent Reducing Properties: The silicon element in ferrosilicon powder has a strong affinity for oxygen, and its relatively low carbon content makes it a commonly used reducing agent in the ferroalloy industry when producing low-carbon ferroalloys. Under specific chemical reaction conditions, ferrosilicon powder can remove oxygen from other compounds, enabling a reduction reaction and helping to produce low-carbon ferroalloy products that meet product requirements.
