Product Introduction
Silicon Manganese Alloy Used in Steel Making is a composite ferroalloy mainly composed of manganese, silicon, and iron. It is an indispensable core auxiliary material in steelmaking, serving multiple functions as a composite deoxidizer, alloying agent, and desulfurizer. It is also an important reducing agent for low-carbon ferromanganese and metallic manganese in smelting, widely used in converter and electric arc furnace steelmaking, as well as in the production of various structural steels, stainless steels, and low-alloy high-strength steels. It accounts for over 70% of the manganese alloy used in steelmaking and is one of the key raw materials for improving the mechanical properties of steel. Our company's silicon-manganese alloy uses high-quality manganese ore (including manganese-rich slag) and silica as raw materials, with lime or dolomite as flux. It is smelted in an electric arc furnace using a carbonaceous reducing agent. Strict control of smelting temperature and discharge time ensures high product purity, low impurities, and uniform composition, fully complying with international steelmaking industry standards and adapting to the personalized needs of different steelmaking processes.
