Medium Carbon Ferro Manganese (MC FeMn) is a ferroalloy used in steelmaking to add manganese and improve steel properties like strength, toughness, and wear resistance. It contains a moderate amount of manganese (e.g., 60-80%) and a specific carbon content (e.g., 0.6-2.0%), bridging the gap between high-carbon and low-carbon grades. MC FeMn acts as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer, removes impurities, and enhances the machinability and weldability of steel, especially in welding electrode production.
