High Recovery Rate Calcium Silicon Cored Wire for Alloy Steel is a metallurgical additive specifically designed for alloy steel refining. It uses SPCC cold-rolled low-carbon steel strip as the outer layer, filled with highly active silicon-calcium alloy powder, and manufactured through a precise coating process.
Production Method of High Recovery Rate Calcium Silicon Cored Wire for Alloy Steel
Alloy Powder Preparation: The silicon-calcium alloy is pulverized using a nitrogen-protected gas flow to produce an 80-200 mesh powder. An antioxidant is added and mixed evenly to prevent calcium oxidation.
Steel Strip Pretreatment: SPCC cold-rolled steel strip with a thickness of 0.35±0.02mm is selected. It is cleaned and dried to remove oil and wastewater, improving the sealing of the coating.
Coating Forming: The steel strip is bent using a progressive forming die, simultaneously filled with alloy powder, and the roll pressure is controlled at 3.2-3.8 MPa to achieve a tight fit.
Sizing and Coiling: Diameter and filling density are checked online. After passing the checks, the strip is wound into standard coils weighing 1000-3000 kg.
Finished Product Inspection: Each coil is tested for composition, calcium recovery rate, and peel strength. A quality certificate is attached to ensure compliance with the high stability requirements of alloy steel refining.
