200 Extra Hard Stainless Steel Strip
1. Basic characteristics
Composition: The nickel content in 200 series stainless steel is low, generally between 4% and 6%, and sufficient manganese and nitrogen are added to stabilize the austenite structure.
Performance: Due to the solid solution strengthening effect of nitrogen, the strength of stainless steel is improved, but the corrosion resistance is worse than that of 300 series stainless steel.
Magnetism: 200 series stainless steel has the non-magnetic properties of austenitic steel and its appearance is similar to that of 300 series stainless steel.

2. Production process
The production of stainless steel strip is a complex process involving several key steps:
Raw material preparation: The raw material is prepared in the form of stainless steel coils, the surface is cleaned, and impurities are removed.
Cold rolling: The cleaned coil is cold rolled to the required thickness through a series of rollers to increase its strength and hardness.
Annealing: The cold-rolled strip is annealed at high temperature to soften the material and eliminate residual stress.
Surface treatment: Pickling, grinding or polishing is performed as required to improve surface characteristics and corrosion resistance.
Slitting and trimming: The strip is cut into narrower widths and uneven edges are removed.
Inspection and testing: Strip steel undergoes rigorous inspection and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
