430 Sheet

430 sheet is a ferritic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, formability, and moderate strength. It is commonly used in a variety of applications where its properties are suitable.430 sheet offers good corrosion resistance in mild environments. It performs well in moderately corrosive atmospheres and is particularly resistant to nitric acid and certain organic acids. However, it is less resistant to corrosion than 304 or 316 stainless steel in more aggressive environments.430 sheet is magnetic due to its ferritic crystal structure.
