430 SS Pipe

430 SS Pipe is primarily used for high-polish decorative applications in mild environments, such as gas stove surfaces, appliance components, tableware, building interiors, sinks, and washing machine tubs. It can also be used in equipment and piping in industries such as food processing, textiles, brewing, water treatment, oil and gas processing, fertilizers and pesticides, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

Seamless pipe production: 430 SS pipe typically starts with round billets. These billets are first heated and then pierced into hollow shells through a perforation process. Pre-treatments include annealing, pickling, and oiling (or copper plating). The billets then undergo multiple cold drawing or cold rolling processes to obtain rough tubes of the desired dimensions. These rough tubes then undergo heat treatment, straightening, and hydraulic testing, before being marked and stored.

Welded pipe production: The steel strip is typically unwound and pre-treated, including flattening and shearing. The strip is then rolled into round or other shaped billets using a forming machine. The weld seams of the billets are then welded together, and the welds are then ground and polished internally and externally. Sizing, straightening, eddy current testing, and hydrostatic testing are then performed. Finally, the billets are cut and packaged as needed.
