310s SS Pipe is widely used in industrial pipelines and mechanical components in the petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, and mechanical instrumentation industries. It is also commonly used in the manufacture of high-temperature furnace tubes, heat exchangers, and boiler components, demonstrating excellent performance in high-temperature environments.

 

 

 

 Excellent High-Temperature Resistance: 310s SS Pipe can operate stably at temperatures up to 1100°C for extended periods and withstand short-term high-temperature shocks up to 1200°C without significant degradation of mechanical properties after cooling.
 Excellent Corrosion Resistance: The high chromium and nickel content provides excellent corrosion resistance to oxidizing, sulfiding, and nitriding acids. It is also resistant to strong oxidizing acids such as nitric acid and sulfuric acid, and can withstand long-term use in acidic, alkaline, and saltwater environments. Furthermore, the low carbon content reduces the precipitation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries during welding or heat treatment, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.

 Excellent mechanical properties: At room temperature, yield strength ≥205 MPa, tensile strength ≥520 MPa, elongation ≥40%, and hardness ≤187 HB, offering a combination of strength and toughness. Even at high temperatures, it maintains high strength and good toughness.

 Excellent processability: It can be cold-formed, such as bending, stamping, and flaring. Although significant work hardening of the austenite structure requires multiple forming passes with intermediate annealing, overall processability is excellent. Weldability is also excellent, with TIG and MIG welding possible. Using wire of the same material is recommended. Preheating is not required before welding, and post-weld heat treatment is generally not required. The strength and corrosion resistance of the welded joints approach those of the parent material.

 High long-term stability and durability: Under high-temperature and long-term loads, the creep rupture strength of 310S stainless steel pipe is significantly higher than that of ordinary stainless steel. It is less susceptible to deformation or fracture due to prolonged high temperatures, resulting in a service life of 10-20 years, significantly reducing maintenance and downtime costs.
