Products introduction
C71500 copper-nickel alloy has good physical and mechanical properties. The density of C71500 copper-nickel alloy is 8.94g/cm³, the tensile strength is usually between 450~550MPa, the yield strength is about 220MPa in the cold working state, and 150~170MPa in the annealing state. The elongation is 10%~15% in the cold working state. Excellent performance.

Processing and heat treatment process
Hot working
The hot working temperature range of C71500 copper-nickel alloy is 850°C to 1150°C. In order to avoid coarse grains, hot rolling or forging is usually carried out between 950°C and 1050°C. In this temperature range, the alloy has good plasticity and can achieve large deformation.
Cold working
C71500 copper-nickel alloy has good cold working performance and is suitable for cold rolling, drawing and other processes. During the cold working process, due to the high hardness and strength of the alloy, intermediate annealing is usually required during multiple rolling processes to restore the plasticity of the material and reduce work hardening.
Welding
C71500 copper-nickel alloy has excellent welding performance, and commonly used welding methods include TIG, MIG and resistance welding. When welding, a welding wire with the same composition as the parent material should be selected to ensure that the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the joint are consistent.
Heat treatment
The mechanical properties of C71500 copper-nickel alloy can be improved by heat treatment. Common heat treatment methods include annealing and aging treatment. Annealing is to eliminate the stress caused by cold working and improve the plasticity of the alloy. The aging temperature is generally controlled between 300°C and 450°C, and the aging time is usually 4 to 8 hours.
