C22 Nickel Alloy

Scrubber towers, where flue gases come into contact with the scrubbing slurry, require materials that can resist acid and chloride corrosion. C-22 provides excellent protection in these highly corrosive zones.

Absorbers that capture sulfur dioxide from flue gases and transfer it to the scrubbing liquid need materials with both high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. C-22 is commonly used for these components, especially in areas with significant wet-dry cycling.

Heat exchangers used to cool down flue gases or reclaim heat often operate in environments that combine moisture, sulfuric acid, and chlorides. C-22 is ideal for these applications due to its resistance to acidic condensates and its high mechanical performance under stress.
