Low Aluminum FeSi Ferro Silicon is primarily composed of iron and silicon, with the silicon content typically exceeding 50%. Iron serves as the primary matrix, while the aluminum content is strictly controlled to a low level, generally ≤1.5%. Some high-end products even have an aluminum content of ≤0.3%. It may also contain small amounts of other impurities, such as carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur.

 Improves Steel Quality: Low Aluminum FeSi Ferro Silicon effectively prevents the formation of hard Al₂O₃ and Al₂O₃-CaO inclusions in molten steel, which can reduce mechanical properties such as toughness and fatigue strength. Compared to ordinary ferrosilicon, low-aluminum ferrosilicon avoids the negative effects of excessive aluminum content during the deoxidation process, thus better ensuring steel quality.

 Improved Casting Performance: In the foundry industry, using low-aluminum ferrosilicon as a spheroidizing charge enhances the spheroidizing performance of the spheroidizer, promotes uniform graphite precipitation in the cast iron, refines the grain size, avoids defects such as shrinkage and porosity in the casting caused by aluminum impurities, and improves the density and mechanical strength of the casting.

 Excellent Corrosion and Wear Resistance: The silicon in low-aluminum ferrosilicon reacts with oxides to form silicates, which provide corrosion resistance. It also increases the alloy's hardness and wear resistance, enabling it to maintain stable performance in harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and high speed. It is suitable for manufacturing wear-resistant parts and corrosion-resistant equipment.
