Product Introduction

Silicon, as a strong deoxidizing element, reacts rapidly with oxygen in molten steel to generate silicon dioxide impurities, facilitating subsequent separation. Calcium effectively removes harmful components such as sulfur and phosphorus, forming stable calcium sulfide and calcium phosphide compounds. Barium effectively reduces the vapor pressure of calcium, minimizing its oxidation loss at high temperatures and more than doubling the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Even with only half the dosage of silicon-calcium alloy, it achieves superior deoxidation and desulfurization effects. High-quality silicon-barium-calcium alloy strictly controls the content of phosphorus and sulfur impurities, ensuring compatibility with low-sulfur and low-phosphorus steel grades and improving steel purity from the source.
