Product Introduction
The core component of Electrolytic Manganese Foil is elemental manganese, with a purity ranging from 99.7% to 99.95%. Impurities (carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, iron, etc.) are strictly controlled to extremely low levels. The thickness is typically 5-100 μm, and the width can be customized. It has a silver-gray or bright white appearance, a smooth and flat surface, and combines the chemical reactivity of metallic manganese with the flexibility and processability of foil materials.
Production Process of Electrolytic Manganese Foil
Electrolytic Deposition: Using manganese sulfate or manganese chloride solution as the electrolyte, precise control of current density, electrolysis temperature, and electrolyte pH ensures uniform reduction and deposition of manganese ions at the cathode, forming an initial manganese layer of uniform thickness and avoiding defects such as pinholes and cracks.
Peeling and Rolling: The deposited manganese layer is peeled off from the cathode substrate and rolled to the target thickness through a multi-pass cold rolling process, simultaneously improving foil density and surface finish.
Annealing Treatment: Under an inert gas atmosphere, low-temperature annealing at 200-300℃ eliminates rolling stress, improves foil flexibility, and prevents breakage during subsequent processing.
