65% 80% Ferro Manganese Alloys High Carbon are silver-gray with a dark blue sheen, and come in varying sizes. They are typically made from manganese ores such as manganese carbonate or manganese oxide, with coke acting as a reducing agent and fuel. Lime is added to adjust the slag composition. A high-temperature reduction reaction occurs in a submerged arc furnace, where the temperature is maintained at 1300-1500°C. The molten alloy and slag are then discharged from the furnace together. The finished product then undergoes subsequent processes such as cooling, crushing, and screening.
