Low- to medium-content calcium-silicon is primarily produced in medium-frequency electric furnaces to reduce production costs and allow for flexible production control.

Improves calcium utilization: Final Oxidation Calcium Silicon is added to molten steel in the form of calcium-silicon cored wire, allowing the calcium-silicon alloy to melt directly into the molten steel and distribute evenly. This increases the calcium reaction depth and improves calcium utilization, facilitating the adjustment and control of the content of easily oxidizable elements and trace elements in the molten steel, allowing for precise control of the steel's composition.
