Product Advantages
Strong Deoxidation Ability: The silicon and calcium in Calcium Silicon Deoxidizer possess strong deoxidation capabilities, reacting rapidly with oxygen in molten steel to form stable oxides such as silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and calcium oxide (CaO). These deoxidation products easily float out of the molten steel, effectively reducing the oxygen content and improving the purity of the molten steel.
Improving Steel Properties: It can alter the composition, morphology, size, and distribution of non-metallic inclusions in steel, making them larger and more buoyant, thereby reducing the negative impact of inclusions on steel properties and improving the steel's plasticity, impact toughness, fluidity, and processability.
Excellent Desulfurization: Calcium has a strong affinity for sulfur. During the steelmaking process, calcium-silicon deoxidizers react with sulfur in molten steel to form calcium sulfide (CaS). This insoluble calcium sulfide floats and separates with the slag, reducing the sulfur content in the steel and effectively addressing sulfur-induced hot brittleness.
