Silicon manganese alloy is widely used as a deoxidizer in steelmaking. It effectively removes oxygen from molten steel, improving its purity and quality. Both silicon and manganese in the alloy react with oxygen, forming oxides that float out of the molten steel. This process enhances the steel's mechanical properties and weldability.

 High-efficiency composite deoxidation, strong deoxidation ability: Silicon and manganese work synergistically, and the deoxidation effect is better than that of a single element (such as ferrosilicon or ferromanganese).

 Reduce pollution of molten steel and improve steel quality: The oxide inclusion particles generated by silicon manganese deoxidation are large and easy to float, which can effectively reduce the content of non-metallic inclusions in molten steel, reduce defects such as pores and cracks, and improve the purity and mechanical properties of steel
 Strong adaptability and wide application range: It is suitable for various steelmaking processes such as converters and electric furnaces, and can be used for deoxidation of various types of steel such as plain carbon steel, low alloy steel, spring steel, bearing steel, etc., especially in small and medium-sized steel mills due to its simple operation and stable effect.
